Mortal Kombat: Conquest – Based on the hugely popular video game of the last 19802, Mortal Komat was a live action show featuring all manner of graphic fighting. The violence in the program was so realistic some parents complained to the FCC and likely looked into security systems for home.
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? – Originally a clue based video game, Carmen Sandiego was a huge hit among young teens in the 1990s. The game show featured three contestants an episode vying to answer geography questions for scholarship cash with the winner heading to an ultimate MAP round.
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show – What could be more classic than a show based on one of the world’s most popular video games? Super Show was a cross between a game show and a live action comedy hour that allowed kids and adults alike to get in on the action.
