Dr. Fred Edison grew up in the mansion and has spent his career working with the meteor that his grandfather discovered in the basement. He is well-intentioned and very dedicated, but lacks just a bit of the talent needed to get any of his experiments to actually work. Unlike his strong, severe father, Fred is as non-assertive as they come, and is far more likely to be found having fun and spending time with his family than at a meeting of the L.L. Edison Corp., which he nominally runs.
